Growing sales and the sponsorship base. Planning and managing all aspects of the day to day operations. Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all sales and operational matters related to hospitality and catering for all events, in line with financial expectations. Leading the team to deliver outstanding experiences for clients.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities

  • Managing, organising and overseeing daily operations of bars and catering.
  • Preparation and delivery of match days
  • Planning and delivering a quality, market-leading hospitality and catering experience
  • Managing business needs and performance expectations and standards
  • Delivery of an exceptional customer service, driving service skills and standards
  • Preparation of reports for senior management and ensuring that all records are properly kept and updated
  • Ensuring delivery of financial targets and Key Performance Indicators
  • Setting quality and operational standards and upholding the same
  • Establishing excellent relationships with clients, contractors and other departments
  • Management and development of relevant personnel
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and statutory and legal requirements, including in respect of health and safety matter
  • Delivery of commercial and sponsorship sales in line with Commercial Strategy and maintaining of relationships with key commercial partners.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience

  • Proven experience of running a hospitality business or business unit
  • Catering experience and team management in a high pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management experience within the catering industry, including the successful management of client relationships
  • Knowledge of food quality requirements and standards
  • Understanding of hospitality procedures and best practice
  • Budget management and responsibility; strategic planning and implementation
  • Proven track record in implementing an innovative and creative approach
  • Proven track record in commercial sales and delivery

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to establish excellent working relationships
  • Commercial acumen and business sense
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Pro-active and self-motivated approach.
